Work with us
Twenty years of collaborations. Yours could be next.
From Philip Glass to Throbbing Gristle and Cornelius, artists and organisations around the world have used the Buddha Machine as a canvas for telling a story in sound — a work, a product and something people can hold, all at once.

Ways to work with us
Custom and co-branded editions
A special edition carrying your brand's sound or colour, for artists, labels and lifestyle brands. subject to approval by FM3
Exhibitions and installations
Several machines placed through one space, making a sound work that changes as people walk through it. For galleries, museums and festivals.
Spaces and hospitality
Background sound for hotels, spas, yoga studios and workplaces, placed so it belongs to the room.
Corporate gifts
A gift nobody else is giving, with your own packaging or card. state the minimum order
Workshops and talks
Sound art, deep listening or remixing with the Buddha Machine, for schools, universities and companies.
Media and content
Sound and stories for film, podcasts and brand content.
For larger orders
Orders from 200 units
Larger quantities at a trade price — for corporate gifts, event pieces, or shops that prefer to buy outright.
Timing
Stock on hand ships straight away. Anything we need to bring in from Beijing takes longer, so tell us the date you need it and we will say whether it is possible.
Making it yours
A company card or message can go in the box. Printing a logo on the device itself has to be checked with FM3 case by case — tell us what you need in the form.
Trade prices are quoted case by case, depending on quantity, model and date. Send the form and we will return a quotation.
A Bangkok connection
In 2014 Christiaan Virant played the EESE festival in Bangkok and gave a workshop on how the Buddha Machine was made. We would like to carry that on with partners in Thailand and South East Asia.
