About this work
A portrait of a woman in dark violet sunglasses and a headscarf striped in gold, purple and black, the plywood cut to the shape of her head and the trailing scarf, with Goldy’s tag on the fabric. The headscarf and the rounded silhouette recall the Russian nesting doll of the title, linking the artist’s Siberian roots with street-fashion imagery. Suited to collectors, a living room or a contemporary interior.
