About this work
A portrait of a blonde woman wearing an oversized VR headset whose screen reads "CHANCE" in green, with pink lips, a white fur collar and a gold chain, surrounded by collaged film posters over a pale blue and grey ground. This mixed-media work fuses the language of street art with collage, using the covered eyes to raise questions about chance and the choices we make, as the title suggests. It reflects Goldy’s practice of combining diverse styles, techniques and materials.
