About this work
A portrait of a woman with a fringed bob, a long visor covering her eyes and one hand raised to her head. Her face is rendered in silvery greys, cut through with neon green and turquoise lines against a near-black green ground, with Goldy’s gold tag in the upper left. The covered eyes and withdrawn pose reflect the title, a portrait of disconnection in the digital age. A large aerosol work that shows the artist’s precise control of light and shadow.
