About this work
An evening landscape under an orange sky, where bushes and trees cast violet shadows across ground lit by the setting sun, with purple hills beyond and pale gold line drawings layered over the scene. Orange light and violet shade create the warm mood of countryside fields at dusk, while the overlaid lines feel like memory or imagination merging with the real view, in keeping with the artist’s layering of past, present and imagination.
