About this work
A wall painting of a woman with her hair in several knots, tortoiseshell cat-eye sunglasses, gold earrings and a multicoloured plaid shirt, her skin and glossy lips rendered realistically against a pale grey ground. The detail in the light on her skin and the pattern of the fabric shows refined aerosol control at a large scale. An example of Goldy’s mural portraiture, bridging street art and contemporary fashion imagery.
