About this work

A wooden field hut on stilts, a ladder leaning against it, stands in a field beneath an orange sky and violet hills, surrounded by pinkish-orange plant line drawings layered over the scene, with a pale blue animal form in the field. The field hut is a symbol of farming life in rural Isan, and the painting reflects the simple way of life in the artist’s hometown, as the title says.
