About this work

Sneak Out is a 50 × 60 cm acrylic on canvas painted in 2024 by Khun (Jakkaphan Deengam), a Bangkok street artist who has been making work in public spaces since 2022, and it shows a fluffy grey cat floating belly-up in mid-air with a sly look, a red compass dangling from the cord in its mouth, as a wooden "HOME." sign drops away below, yellow graffiti-style "MAM" lettering hovers above and leaves swirl across a dusty rose ground, capturing the moment a cat slips out of the house in search of adventure with the mischief and curiosity every cat owner knows, rendered in finely detailed fur alongside bold street-art graphics.
